Poster Contest ‘Welcome to the Rhodopes. The Natural Resources of My Homeland’
HEC Gorna Arda is organizing a school contest for poster, open to the children of Ardino Municipality. The theme is ‘Welcome to the Rhodopes. The Natural Resources of My Homeland’.
Pupils, we are inviting you to make an art project (poster), depicting one or more historical, architectural or natural landmarks of the area you live in or protected species in the Rhodopes (plants, animals). The project’s objective is to promote the region through its natural beauty and heritage sites.
The contest is open to all pupils in Ardino Municipality (1-12 grade). The contestants will be divided in three age categories: Junior (1-4 grade), Medium (5-7 grade) and Senior (8-12 grade). In the making of your project it is desirable that you use a mixed technique – drawings, decoration with appliqués, text, but you may include also other materials (leaves, plants, parts of photos, etc.).
Poster size – up to 50/70 cm.
The awarded first, second and third place in each category will receive prizes!
The deadline for submitting your posters to your teachers is Nov. 20th, 2015.
