HEC Gorna Arda awarded the winners in Rhodope Winter contest

The official awards ceremony for the contestants who applied for the “Rhodope winter” competition was held on December 13, 2011. The contest was for the best child painting and was organized by HEC Gorna Arda. The competition included two age categories – students from grade 1 to 4 and students from grade 5 to 7 in all schools in the municipality of Ardino. 173 children from the municipality participated in the competition and sent over 185 paintings.

The winner in the age category from grade 1 to 4 is Alper Yumer, grade 4 from SOU “Hristo Smirnenski”, Byal Izvor village. The winner in the age category from grade 5 to 7 is Tugay Sherif, grade 5 from SOU “Vasil Levski”, town of Ardino.

Both paintings were used as HEC Gorna Arda Christmas greeting cards.
