Annie Hristova, Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board
Annie Hristova was born in 1961. In 1985 she graduated from the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute as Master of Science in Hydrotechnical Engineering.
She has gained her professional experience during the preparation, execution and control of large-scale projects like Chaira PSHPP, Gorna Arda cascade, Tsankov kamak HPProject, Luda Yana dam, Yadenitsa HPProject and road projects.
Annie Hristova is a member of the Bulgarian Committee of Large Dams (BUNCOLD), member of International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD). She is very experienced in project management with international stakeholders. She speaks Russian and English.
Since June 2015 Annie Hristova has been Head of Electricity Generation Division at NEK, as well as Project Manager in the Rehabilitation of Chaira PSHPP. In 1994-1996 she worked at NEK’s Hydroelectoinvest branch and in the period 1999-2008 she dealt with contracting and project control in the Gorna Arda hydro power cascade project.
She has been Deputy Chairperson of HEC Gorna Arda’s Management Board since September 2015.
